As you can see, the views are beautiful and the fish are plenty, and if you’re lucky, some of the fish you may come across are very big; our record catch for a Brown Trout was landed in 2004, and weighed 13lb 12 oz. This record was matched in May 2013, while the record Rainbow was caught in 2007 and weighed 16lb.
STOP PRESS! On Friday 11th April 2014, a member landed seven Rainbows and four Browns, with the largest Browns weighed at 10.5lbs, 11lbs and 12lbs, witnessed and then returned safely, all wild grown on Browns. A remarkable day’s fishing.
Whitemoor Estate offers private, syndicate memberships only, but day guest tickets are available for guests of members.
